In addition to the absence of bacteria on its surface, stainless steel bowls are also hypoallergenic, while the same cannot be said for those made of plastic materials, which often cause allergic reactions. Using stainless steel bowls means, therefore, avoiding unpleasant annoyances to your pet and also saving on visits to the vet.
Furthermore, these bowls are non-toxic: since this material does not oxidize, it does not release any substances that could harm your dog. Unfortunately, bowls made of synthetic materials cannot guarantee the same standards and, in fact, may contain substances that are dangerous for the dog, especially when they are rather poor quality bowls.
Stainless steel bowls are virtually eternal. The reasons are as follows:
- They do not corrode over time.
- If they fall or get hit they don't break, like ceramic ones do.
- They resist the bites of teething puppies and even those of adult dogs who, for various reasons, bite everything that comes between their teeth: a plastic bowl, in these cases, would break at the first assault.
