Collari, Pettorine e Guinzagli: Come Scegliere gli Strumenti Ideali per il Tuo Compagno a Quattro Zampe

Collars, Harnesses and Leashes: How to Choose the Ideal Tools for Your Four-Legged Companion

Mariasole Ferrante

As a breeder, one of the questions I have been asked most frequently over the years is: “Harness or collar?”. To answer this question, you can find a million pieces of information, with people demonizing the collar and others criticizing the harness. This situation has created a lot of confusion among dog enthusiasts and owners. However, I recently came across an article by Giorgio Maggiolo ( www.professionecinofilo.it ), which gave me a completely different perspective.

It is important to consider that both the harness and the collar are simply tools; the choice of one over the other should be based on what we want to achieve and the type of activity we intend to do with our dog. It is essential to understand how both work and know when to use each of them.

I invite you to read this article, which I hope can offer you the same enlightenment that it gave me.

Gentilissima Tara,
