Duomega - 1000 mg - Soft capsules

The Omega 3 fatty acids EPA and DHA of marine origin in high concentrations have proven efficacy in slowing down the progression of chronic renal dysfunction, thanks to their antioxidant/anti-inflammatory, antiproliferative at the mesangial level, glomerular antihypertensive and antithrombotic activity, as well as in the support of cardiovascular function thanks to their anti-inflammatory, antithrombotic, antihypertensive and antiarrhythmic activity. DUOMEGA contains a high concentration of EPA and DHA of natural origin (marine fish) associated with krill oil, and is indicated as a support for maintaining correct renal and cardiovascular function, both alone and in association with diets and therapies specifications indicated by the attending veterinarian.

Ingredients
Pure fish oil, containing minimum 90% omega 3 essential fatty acids, (80% EPA/DHA), Krill oil.
Shell: edible gelatine.
Additives per kg: Vitamin E/ racemic alpha-tocopheryl acetate 2,500 mg.
Each capsule contains 1000 mg of pure fish oil (equal to approx. 800 mg of EPA/DHA).

Instructions for use
Administer the product for a minimum initial period of 30 days, following the instructions provided by the veterinary surgeon, according to the following dosage scheme:
• Dogs up to 14 kg body weight: 1 Duomega soft capsule 1000 mg per day.
• Dogs between 14 and 28 kg body weight: 2 Duomega soft capsules 1000 mg per day.
• Dogs between 28 and 40 kg body weight: 3 Duomega 1000 mg soft capsules per day.
• Dogs over 40 kg body weight: 4 Duomega soft capsules 1000 mg per day.
Open the capsule and mix its contents with your usual food ration. The capsule can also be administered whole directly to the animal. Administration can be continued for long periods of time, based on the animal's condition and the judgment of the attending veterinarian.
