Salmon is one of the most prized fish in the world and one of the main reasons for these excellent properties lies in the fact that it spends its life between the salt waters of the ocean and the fresh waters of the river. Salmon are born and grow in the river mouths and once mature they reach the ocean and spend their adult life swimming in its cold waters.

Salmon is one of the most useful natural foods for protecting the intestinal walls and supporting the immune system. Salmon is in fact the food of animal origin with the highest content of polyunsaturated fatty acids, which in addition to guaranteeing elasticity and resistance to the cold, have an extreme antioxidant power. Foods containing salmon are ideal for the protection of cell membranes, in particular those of the intestinal lumen; helps prevent and treat inflammatory conditions and supports the immune system. Finally, like all strong antioxidant systems, it can also have an effect on the general state of well-being against stress and depression.
